At Freedom Church, we want people across Chester to experience God’s love in practical ways. Our foodbank is one expression of that vision, putting our values of Loving Others Generously and Living God’s Truth into action.
Our friendly team runs foodbank sessions every Wednesday, 11am–2pm, and Friday, 9–11am, supporting people in our community who are struggling to put food on the table. We want everyone who comes through our doors to be welcomed with kindness and treated with dignity.
In 1 John 3:18, we’re called to love through our actions, not simply our words. Through the generosity of those who give and the commitment of our volunteers, we’re seeking to live that out, one person and one food parcel at a time.

Donations
For the last 5 years, Foodbank has consistently given out more food than we’ve received in donations. Our supplies are running low, and we need your help to keep supporting local people who are struggling to put food on the table.
Could you add a few extra items to your weekly shop? Every donation, large or small, helps us restock our shelves and care for our neighbours. It’s a simple way to put our value of Loving Others Generously into practice.
You can bring food donations during our foodbank sessions: Wednesdays, 11am–2pm, and Fridays, 9–11am. To find out what we need most or arrange a donation, call our Foodbank lead on 07708 407677 or email info@freedomchurchchester.org.
Thank you for helping us keep food on the shelves and on people’s tables.
Thank You!
A huge thank you to the bikers behind Brooker’s Xmas Bash, who raised money in memory of Lee Brooker, who passed away in 2000, aged 50.
They used the funds to donate an incredible amount of food to Freedom Church Foodbank, and we’re so grateful for their generosity.
These donations will make a real difference to local people struggling with the cost of living, helping put food on the table and reminding them that their community cares. Thank you to everyone who gave, organised and took part.
