North Wales
We didn't set out to plant a church in North Wales.
During Covid, different restrictions either side of the England-Wales border meant people from Freedom Church’s North Wales house group began meeting to stream the Sunday morning service in the leaders garden.
As restrictions lifted within Wales, these gatherings became their own meetings, still unable to cross the border. A community formed, relationships deepened, and Hope Church Deeside was born.
Hope Church Deeside
Hope Church Deeside was established as a church plant in 2022 and now gathers every Sunday at 10.30 am at Woodside Community Centre in Ewloe for worship, Bible teaching, and community.
Today, it is growing towards its next season as a church in its own right, while remaining part of the wider family from which it was planted.

And the story continued…
The story didn't stop in Deeside. After travelling from the Holywell area to be part of Hope Church Deeside for around two years, a couple within the church began to sense that something should grow closer to home.
Out of that connection, and a shared passion to see people on the North Wales coast encounter Jesus, Hope Church Holywell was born.
Hope Church Holywell
Seeking to build on the rich spiritual heritage of the area, the team are humbled to serve alongside those already faithfully serving Holywell and Flintshire.
This Christ-centred community gathers at Bagillt Community Centre every Sunday at 10.30 am, a space where people can encounter God and experience His peace, love, and grace.
